2012

So it is now officially 2012, in fact it has been for almost a month. This of course means this is the final countdown towards my wedding. both very exciting and terrifying at the same time, as it remind me of how much i have left to do. However I am making steady progress, and with the help of friends and family everything should be ready on time. We have come up with a lot more crafty idea to make this a totally tailored wedding, at not too great a price. My vision for the wedding was always for it to be unique, one of a kind, the sort of thing that could never be exactly reproduced and would reflect myself and Jamie as a couple. With what i have planned I think this is exactly what I should end up with! 

As you may have guessed from the site, the wedding colour theme is pink, Jamie is very tolerant and supportive of me and his allowing the entire wedding to be covered in pinkness and hearts really is a shining example of what an excellent husband he will be. Most people who know me will be aware I don't do things by halves, in fact I tend to err closer to the side of extreme, so if you hate pink stay away from this wedding!! I am of course working hard to ensure that it doesn't all look like a giant marshmallow festival.

We have started buying a few items, so my giant list is getting some beautiful ticks. I am slightly nervous we still do not have two of the biggest items, the photographer and the dress. Hopefully by this time next month I will be blogging about the successful acquisition of at least one of those items. 

This weekend I will be starting to play around with some ideas for the centre pieces. I will also be pinning Jamie down to ask about table names and to buy our very special custom shoes!!! (Super exciting) Things are starting to move forward nicely x
